The unique patent pending e-Traction® Suspension Arm has been developed that enables TheWheel™ to be turned 180° around the mounting point. To the best of our knowledge, no other self propelled wheel is able to obtain this operational freedom. To complement this already unique suspension system, we are currently developing an additional ride height control mechanism. Steering is by electric motors mounted on each suspension arm and is controlled separately by joystick with proprietary hardware and software jointly called Spiral Control®.
Aside from electronic inputs from a conventional steering wheel below a predetermined speed control could also be taken with a joystick. The proprietary e-Traction® software called Spiral Control® allows vehicle movements that are impossible unless equipped with TheWheel™. Assuming the vehicle utilizes four e-Traction® suspension arms it can for example be rotated around its own axis, with all wheel at a 45° angle, or moved sideways, with the wheels at 90°, towards the curb.
