In 2001 Ing. Arjan Heinen received the prestigious
Mechatronics Trophy for his development of TheWheel™.
In 2002 TheWheel™ was deemed the best system presented at the A&B Aandrijftechniek Beurs in Utrecht, the
Netherlands.
In
2003
e-Traction®
, as
separately identified partner in the entry by SKF, was
named runner-up for the same Mechatronics Trophy.
This award was in recognition of the combination of innovations embodied
in the jointly developed forklift truck.
