After five years
of development the introduction of TheWheel™ took place in 2001 with its placement for the
energy company NUON as a generator driven by a watermill in “het Geldersch Landschap”. This unit runs the
equivalent of 100,000 kilometers per year in a wet environment generating
roughly 20,000 KWH annually.
